Spring 2012 News and Events!

GEM Boys State:  We have already received the applications and we are working hard to generate the finances to send as many of the young men as the Post can afford. We are in need of your help to be able to send as many of these young men who meet the Posts qualifications.  If you could send us a small donation of $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can afford.  You can send your donation to The American Legion Post 4, P.O. Box 14, Pocatello, ID 83204-0014 and write Boys State on the memo line of your check.  Thanks for your support of these awesome young men.

 

Election of Officers: Do you want to have a say in the direction of the Post? We are having nominations and election of officers during the April meeting on April 11th at 7 pm.

 

Field of Heroes – May 25th to 28th: The Riders and the Post have joined together to run the Information tent for the FOH.  We are looking for volunteers to greet visitors to the FOH and help them understand the purpose and meaning and assist anyone the wants to find someone in the field.  If you would like to volunteer please contact Woody woody@americanlegionpost4.com .

 

Memorial Day:  The Legion will be conducting the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building.  The program will start at 11 am.

 

Military Family Appreciation Day – June 16th /10 am at Upper Ross Park

 

The American Legion Horseshoe Tournament @ Rim Rock Bar & Grill:  This is scheduled for June the date and time will be announced soon on the Post 4 website.
